A MAN is in hospital after being stabbed in the abdomen outside a southwestSydney home.
The 26-year-old was standing outside the house in Liverpool about 5.30am (AEDT) on Wednesday when he was stabbed by an unknown man, police say.
He sustained internal bleeding and was taken to Liverpool hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
Police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
